"Orange items/cristals"

Near the silver cloth seller, another seller recently has appeared, offering items resembling orange balls and orange crystals. Does anybody have  any clue what the use of these items is?

BTW: Is it possible that the game makers has lately disabled the voice while using Cloth Skill (for instance pegasus ryusei ken)? Because, when I perform the skill there is only an animation without my character shouting pegasus ryusei ken (but in Chinese :):P)
