Level 14 Lyra Orpheus Quest Issue

Hey guys,

   I'm hoping you can help me because i'm having issues with the level 14 Lyra Orpheus flashback quest. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get past this one part. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to attack the monster. But it won't let me. Assist please?

Nevermind I was correct. I had to log in and out several times to get the quest to work. But I got past it. Most likely a lag glitch or something.
