Mac and Windows 8? Empty Mac and Windows 8?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question in which it probably is but is the TH or CN version of SSO able to be played on by a Mac laptop or/and Windows 8? I've been getting lonely in TH SSO since I have no one there however, my friends have often expressed on how they wanted to play but didn't know if it was available for Mac or Windows 8.
