I forgot Full metal alhemist i watched that, and the anime accel world just look so so, i don't like robots in anime   

did you try one piece?
they remake hellsing some times ago maybe you will like it if you like seinen manga style.

You are kidding right? My Otome and My Hime are one of the best animations which I've watched and they have HQ quality if you look for it, including HD...

maybe the one who upload this video on youtube did it bad, i don't remember that was so bad.

And don't worry it's not English Dubbed... it's with English Subtitles, I recommend it this way, because of original voices, which put hundreds even thousands of better emotions than any English Actor can...

Try "Requiem for a Phantom"

I Finish watching "Darker than black" it was little boreing and monotonous 5/10
Also the Requiem for a Phantom looks like Darker than black.
My-HiME i try watch but totaly in not my type.

King's game is a good manga too, but idk if there is an animated version.

Umm i was wrong Zellion the anime Darker than black was ok i can even say it was good coz before i didnt find season + movies now i finish watch all and it was good 8/10

@Eldeh i search King's game but i didnt find any anime so probably here is only manga and i am lazy to read

I watched this one.

Actually I have a list of animes that are a bit oldies, but that I enjoyed :

- Noir : An anime about 2 assasins in modern world. Not really funny, but pretty strange and cool to see.
- Attack on Titan : Actually a kind of introduction to the manga line. Interesting plot, the manga is still on-going.
- Berserk : Pure dark fantasy, in a kind of twisted medieval world. Actually a kind of introduction to the manga line. There are also 3 OAV now, recent and pretty nice to see
- Black lagoon : An anime about a band of mercenaries in South east asia. Funny and pretty much nice to see.
- Cyber city Oedo 808 : From Yoshiaki Kawajiri, 3 OAV, old but still brilliant. An completely cyberpunk anime. Master class.
- Hakuouki Shinsengumi kitan : About the Bakumatsu era. A samurai serie with a twist of demon and fantasy.
- Rurouni Kenshin : Same period as above, but centered on a master of sword, with a very tense past.
- El Hazard : There are 2 series of OAV. It is all about students getting a travel to another world. Complete fantasy
- Hellsing : There are 2 series, but prefer the ultimate. It is a dystopia about nowadays, with a tamed vampire fighting for a English saint order against other vampires. Finishes in a battle between Vatican forces, Nazis, and the Hellsing order. A must see !
- Mardock Scramble : A recent set of 3 OAV. Very much cyberpunk, interesting, well drawn, pretty violent with a lot of action. It's about a girl being raped and murdered, then kind of revived through some state controlled technology, and trying to put her abductor in jail with legal means... but of course not that simple.

I can also quote Queen Emeraldas from the Harlock universe, but even if there are some really excellent scenes, I only consider the anime to be partially good. So 50/50 for this one.

Maybe I'll come later with some more ideas. :-)

Come to think of it, I could also advise about Jin-Roh and mostly all Mamory Oshii's work, like the Patlabor OAV. Oldies but goodies too !

And then the Appleseed movie... possibly from 2005. Need to check.
But all about dystopia, and very good scenarios even though a bit old.

Oh and you can add X from Clamp to the list ! But avoid the movie X-1999, it was crap and it unpleased a big fan like me.
I think this time I am pretty much done. ;-)
