Star Script.pck problem

Hi, I have a problem with my game.... none of the language patches I install seem to work!! (and yes, I keep the patch updated to the game version):wtfvegeta: 
In fact, I can completeley remove script.pck from my game folder and play withour any sort of trouble.
What can I do? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game 5 times and it's the same thing...
Can anyone help???
