Completed [Guide]Making your own English Patch

Post by Guest Wed Oct 16, 2013 10:42 pm

Hello everyone;

Its time to know the work that we did and do it for theirselves so lets start:

1º We need to download the program called "Quickbms" that you guys can get it here:

http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers/quickbms.zip

After the file its totally downloaded unrar on a folder.

2º We need to prepare our folders call it first "Original Chinese" and "English Chinese".

3º Open the "quickbms_4gb_files.exe" or "quickbms.exe" depends of your computer ;), after opened theres a window pop up that say you that
need to load the .txt or .bms (Those are the hexadecimal code to unpack the Script.pck) then we need to select the script file in our case its "Script.pck" that you can get it from their folder located here: "C:\SaintOL\package" (Or the name that you have named the saint seiya folder) and the folder you want to save those files. After that a ms dos window appear and you gonna watch a whole files loading on a tree (This meaning its starting to unrar and put it on the folder you have selected).
4º Open the folder you want to translate and press right button "Edit with notepad" or "Open with.." and select notepad++.

How i can translate the chinese things?

Easy, just use the google translator or with image in a translator online that translate images into text in english and remember to fix the grammars ;).

5º Now we gonna start packing our translator files into the file Script.pck
6º Copy a ms dos console on the quickbms folder and open it
7º Theres 2 forms to do it and ill show you in this image:

[Guide]Making your own English Patch 3lfd

As you can see we call first the .exe to use it with this code quickbms.exe -w -r and then we select the .txt or bms that have the code to unpack it,then the file "Script.pck" and last and more importat the translator folder (That i call it on my native lang "traducido").

If you do those steps without any mistake you gonna watch this:

[Guide]Making your own English Patch D3c0

This image means that the need to rewrite the file between the original with the translate thing (Remember to have the same weight or less than the original file).

After do those last steps without anyproblem you gonna see a text that its successfully reimported and you can copy your newly english patch "Script.pck" and paste on your Saint Seiya Folder.

Hope you guys understand the job that is this with a person and hope this guide help yours.

Remember to share their english patch files for those who want to translate or continue or use it in the game and credited those guy who do
the possibility to do this things.

This guide its maked for me (LissCute aka Lishell).

What is that .txt or .bms? Where can I find it?

Yeah I am also stuck on this step.

Just found the file I needed inside client folder and then inside new patcher sub folder. But now I am completely lost about how to use notepad++ :smille2:when I open a file, it looks so weird

Edit: I think I can make it work using AppLocale. Liss could you post a SS showing how you edit using notepad++ please.

I think my bms is wrong, I need the one you used to unencryp the files.

I'm also stuck on this step:
"need to load the .txt or .bms (Those are the hexadecimal code to unpack the Script.pck)"
Create a new file and call it "THE-NAME-YOU-WANT.bms"
Open it with Note Pad and copy this script:

Spoiler:

Now you can extract the files .pck.
