Cloth rankings as of now

The 3rd and 4th tier of silver cloths. At that point in the game, most people have a very accessible way of getting a gold cloth. Is there any point to these silver cloths other than the skills you unlock by upgrading them?
Where does level 17 starter sit in regards to those silver cloths? Is a level 1 gold stronger than a level 17 starter? Or do you need to upgrde a bit before it overtakes?

A level 0 Gold Cloth is slightly stronger than a level 17 Starter Bronze

And from what I have seen very few use tier 4 silver and only some use tier 3 because they don't have their Gold Cloth yet so yeah there's probably no point other than the skills you unlock.

The more you have cloth the more you up your cosmo and become stronger so if you want the high lvl wings you need to buy all the bronze cloth and all the silver .
And you also need to upgrade them so it's not useless to get a t3 or t4 silver cloth.
