Level 45 Quest Problem

I'm not sure if the quest is glitched, or if I'm doing something wrong. But basically when I do this quest (You start off talking to Marin), and I get to the second part, I do battle with the gold saint. But once his hp gets to 10 it doesn't go any lower. This part is timed. What am I doing wrong?

maybe you just don't have enough cosmo , you are suppose to kill the gold saint
and there is limited time.

I have tried that. But once HIS hp gets down to 10, it won't go down anymore. I can keep hitting and it won't drop that last 10 hp.

You clearly didn't read what I said.

I tried logging out and back in, but that didn't fix it either. No matter what I do, his hp stops at the last 10.

Will in the skills window, on the second tab has a skill that and a handle with a red background, you have to attack it with such skill.
