Journey to Gold - The Real Way (Golden Cloth)

As many of you have probably witnessed and have seen numerous players run around timed versions of gold cloths, you may probably have wondered how hard it is for one to obtain the permanent version. I can firmly say right now that the path to gold is not an easy feat and the journey would be quite long!

Keys:
*Tickets = Ingame currency that are not tradable
*Coins = Tradable ingame currency

To begin with, let's break down the prerequisites:

★Lv 79+
★Requires 100k Cosmo ( for this very reason, many players have chose to stay at lv 79 until they've reached this goal.)
★Requires a certain amount of faction towards a specific gold saint. (of your choice)
★Requires 12 sets of the specific Gold saint's cloth set as ( of your choice)
★Requires a Gold cloth permission slip

In this case I chose cancer, that means I will need 12 sets of cancer cloth parts to reach completion. (3 parts = 1 set)



★ALTERNATIVELY★


*Main cloth passes +17/48
* This is also the very reason that you see most lv 60+ wear gold at common sight, however, in exchange this method is quite ticket-costy. Tickets become the main gold sink in this game for that reason.
Beyond *10, a single click would cost 10k tickets, so it is not within your interest to attempt this without having large quantities of blood ready.

The Prelude:
Upon reaching Lv.68 , you'll be assigned a series of quest to obtain the a single gold cloth set of your choice.

An entire set would cost the user approximate 12mil coins, baring the permission slips and the part costs.


Alternatively, you're given the option to purchase an entire set at once, at the cost of 50mil tickets + the permission slip.
Most players have chosen this route over the coin method, as inflation is just around the corner in the server that we play in.


Step 2 : The Permission slip
The NPC would be located here, proceed to choose the 2nd option.


The slip itself requires 1mil tickets + 25 Athena Tears + 100 Bronze/Silver chips

Alternatively, you're given a second option to exchange for 100 Golden/Silver/Bronze chips + 2mil tickets


Last but not least, we must fulfill maximum faction towards a gold saint for our respective cloths.



A saint's friendship level may be increased by completing various tasks from the daily NPC shown above, keep in mind that only the blue/purple quests may yield affection.

*There has not been a concise, effective method as of right now to gain faction specifically for a single saint as it is entirely random, although I know for a fact that certain dungeons DO have an impact towards a saint's "friendzone" level towards you.

So when you say 12 parts, you mean 4 helmets, 4 dorsos, 4 arms?

There are two images that are the same, is that a mistake?

That same npc sells some gold cloth parts that do not have the "form" of one of the 12 zodiac gold cloth. What do they do? Can they be used to get any of the 12 cloths?

Made the correction to some images. By one set I mean the dorso/helm/arms = 1 set, which means you'll need 12 helmets, dorso and arms.

The 2nd tab cloth boxes are complete sets (12 helm/dorso/arms) , which comes at 50mil tickets + slip.

the 100k power isnt for the gold cloth, you can have gold clothes at any given level, i've seen game masters lv 27 showing us the gold clothes, as those dont have level requirements neither power.

You need 100k power at 79 for your wings ranking 2 , as those grow bigger and much more beatifull.

Also the faction towards a gold saint might not be for the cloth as well, as those gold boxes are for the Cosmo system ( N tab)


Also, i've seem many chinese with gold clothes already, even more then 1 , they did it on the gold test of course as that server has more then a month now.

The permanent versions do require you have 100k cosmo+ lv 80+to equip, and I am quite positive the gold boxes from faction are not for cosmo system..it just a simply reward, provide you 2 out of 3 of the gold cloth set pieces. Though you are right about the wings, 100k is the next milestone for wing evolution.




Maybe you saw some of the 30 minute version of the cloth, these are obtained through a special event box that began distributing during OBT, I'm not sure how exactly it work since I had a friend help me with it

The thing is bare in mind that challenge dungeon ( one that require you to advance floor), you would need to be in high floors to find the gold npc.  seeing that even 2nd silver requires 69550 cosmo to enter the floors, gold very well may be higher than that requirement. that's why ideally I still propose that a player aim for the 100k goal along the way, since it is a long process that may take weeks, or even months for some players.

and there are indeed other means of obtaining the parts as I forgot to mention , faction reward isn't limited to just the gold saints, certain NPC offer sets as reward too.

Kan, a little of topic but...Is there any milestone I should reach before leveling from 69 to 70? Thx.

not only that, i got parts drop while doing the challenge dungeons and even droped one in a 70 instance.
about the challenge dungeon, i dont think it will be needed for the gold clothes, im not sure though but normally when you need to do the challenge the needed power is writen right in the item, but the gold clothes dont have that.

if we comparing. which better, +17 original cloth or the real gold cloth...? also, if our main cloth +48/48. like what that form later...? hmm, "God Cloth"..?

More seriously, i wonder too, what is the more powerfull between a +48 Base cloth (Pegasus, Dragon,etc), a gold cloth and a fully upgraded gold cloth (we can upgrade them, right?).

yeah.. we can upgrade them till limit (+48). sometime, i look cloth upgrade item (27-32) in action house. but, idk where they got that item..

It looks like im very rich muahahaha lol

gold armor starts off with really small power , at lv 1 it already looses to bronze 17 , it keeps getting stronger .

at 32 ( gold max level) it still smaller then bronze 33 ( btw, we can't level our clothes to 48 yet, there is no token for that).

of course, last time i saw a gold 32 was in beta like a month ago, things could have changed or they couldnt.But I doubt gold would get stronger then main bronze cloth

Gold Cloths seems pretty weak. Even if i don't mind them being weaker than full Bronze, being too weak is pretty lame, since it's lvl 79+ stuff. Well, those shiny armors are just for showing, i guess ^^

@usyya: i prefer the original phoenix cloth too, i think the gold clothes the back of the gold clothes are pretty... unworked. Too empty, a white cloak would be welcome. But for now, my phoneix cloth is too weak (hard to believe that the phoenix cloth is weaker than the bronze puppis cloth since Shaka says it is even greater than gold ones because of his regeneration, but, well...) .

hmm.. how about "god cloth"..? i hope they will added that cloth in game.

They have plenty of time and way to improve clothes: God clothes, Bronze clothes V1, V2 and V3 from anime, bronze clothes from manga, Omega clothes, Asgard armors, Poseidons scales, Surplices, black clothes... They got plenty to work with. It will probably comes later. 

(Wichi is why i don't understand the choice of imaginary clothes like fornax or serpens)
