★ Pets Guide ★

This guide is to help people understand the pet system a little bit more. The only purpose (that I have found so far) for owning a pet, is that they pick up drops from mobs for you.

The first dog is available from a quest, receivable at level 40 or so. To obtain the other breeds of dog, you must mate them with another player.

But first, a little bit of background information. :) 

Spoiler:

1. Pet's energy bar (increases when you feed your pet)                  
2. Pet's love bar (increases when you give love to your pet)                          
3. Pet's level bar (?) (increases when you play with your pet)                       
4. Pet's gender                        
5. Summon pet                          
6. Unsummon pet                    
7. Delete pet
8. Give love to your pet
9. Play with your pet

12. Send a message to another players pet :?:                                             
13. Set which rarity of drops you want your pet to pick up (if you tick the check box with the white text, your pet will pick up all white drops and higher, whereas if you tick the check box with the orange text, your pet will only pick up orange drops.)

In order for your pet to be able to mate, it needs to have at least 500 points in the level bar. To increase the level bar, you need to play with your pet. This increases the level bar by 10 points each time (up to a maximum of 30 points a day).

Mating your dog
1. Find another player who's dog is an opposite gender, but same breed as yours, make sure both of you are in a party together. And make sure both pets are unsummoned.
2. Head to the location on the map below.

3. Have the leader of the party speak to the person circled below.

4. Choose the first option.

5. Both players should have a box (like the one below) showing on their screens. Both players need to select from the drop down menu the pet that they want to mate. Then click on  button 1, as shown in the picture, then button 2.

6. Check your pet menu. It should show that your pet has disappeared. If this is true, wait for 5 minutes or so, then click on the NPC and select the 2nd option. Your new breed of dog, and the one you have just mated should appear.

Feeding your dog
1. Speak to the NPC circled below.

2. With your pet summoned, buy some pet food. (Click on the item labelled 1 in the picture below)

3. Go to your inventory and right click on your newly purchased pet food. You'll see in your pet menu that your dog's energy has increased.


ACCIDENTALLY DELETED YOUR PET? (happened to me :oops: ) Buy a pet egg by clicking on the item labelled 2 in the picture below!

How could I increase the green bar (love bar) of the pet? I tried giving 3 bones to him but nothing happened... i unsummoned my pet and tired, but the heart was unable...

To increase the green bar, you need to click on the heart icon and it will add 10 points. Try and click on the heart icon with your pet summoned. Giving 3 bones to your dog will increase it's orange bar, not the green. :x

My male dog reached 500 on orange level bar.
Does anyone has a female dog to mate with mine?

Today a strange event happened....
I notice a red written in my pet menu:

I'm not able to translate it.

I tried to unsummon the dock, then I clicked on the third button (next to the bone).
It appeared a sort of timer under the button, starting from 15 minutes.


I clicked on the third button again and the dog showed me a map with a !
I haven't unlocked this location in my world map yet, so I wasn't able to reach it.
No quest appeared but it seems a sort of treasure hunt.


After 15 minutes, when the counter reached 0, the map and the option to click on the third button disappeared.
Then I found a new item in my bag: it's a shell worth 1940$.


EDIT: the "treasure hunt" only works if dog has at least 200 on love bar. Love bar drops down if you don't stay with your dog for more days, for example if you give more attentions to another dog.


The red written is still here.
What is the red written? I hope that the dog isn't ill... He has full bars.

How do you get a cat?

I THINK it was during an event, so I don't think you can get them now.

the red letters means that your pet "need" to mate....  :twisted: 

I sent my dog out for treasure hunt. It went off with a pet on my friend list, and now it won't come back. It's been "1 minute left" forever.

after you mate your dog can he keep mating at that level or need to go higher?

Does anyone know how to get the phoenix pet?

can you re-host pictures I cant see them. Im iterest especially in this with what to do when I delete pet.
